Postponed: LCMS Specialized Pastoral Ministry Conference — Fort Wayne, Ind.

Owing to increasing travel restrictions due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, and out of abundant concern for our brothers and sisters in Christ, we have reluctantly decided to postpone the Making Disciples for Life (MDFL) Gathering as well as the Disaster Response and Specialized Pastoral Ministry conferences scheduled for April 15-18 in Fort Wayne, Ind.
Those who have registered will receive a refund, and we encourage you to join us at the rescheduled conference (date to be announced) and at our next regularly scheduled MDFL event Sept. 23-26, 2020, in St. Louis.

Conference information
This conference will explore various aspects of SPM, including Prison Ministry, and there will be opportunities for fellowship and discussion.
SPM trains and endorses ministers to serve people who are ill, imprisoned, aging, troubled, conflicted or isolated.
Across every district of the LCMS, ordained or commissioned SPM ministers work through chaplaincy, pastoral counseling and clinical pastoral education to bear witness to Christ in the midst of weakness and show mercy to those who are suffering.
