DESCRIPTION:The LCMS U Campus Ministry Staff Conference will be held May 31 through June 1 at University Lutheran Chapel in Minneapolis. The conference theme is “Engaging the Collegiate Mind.” \nThe speakers will be Dr. Adam Francisco\, the Rev. Dr. Jon Bruss\, and the Rev. Eric Andrae. We hope that long-term ministry leaders — pastors\, commissioned workers\, and other campus workers — will join us for support and networking. \nThis conference is for pastors\, DCEs\, deaconesses and others who are leading campus ministries in the LCMS. SUMMARY:LCMS LifeFest - Milwaukee
DESCRIPTION:The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod will host LifeFest on Sunday\, June 25\, at the Hyatt Place hotel in downtown Milwaukee to celebrate life and remember the many lives lost to abortion in the United States. \nJoin LCMS President Rev. Dr. Matthew C. Harrison and other fellow Lutherans at the event\, which occurs a day after the one-year anniversary of Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization\, the U.S. Supreme Court ruling on June 24\, 2022\, that overturned Roe v. Wade. \nLifeFest will take place immediately following the closing worship service of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League convention in Milwaukee. The event will feature live music as well as refreshments and light snacks. \nLifeFest is free to attend\, but registration is required and space is limited. \nRSVP now
