SUMMARY:'YouthLead' Training for Teens
DESCRIPTION:YouthLead equips teens to develop and use their leadership skills as they serve Christ within their congregations and communities. LCMS Youth Ministry will host our 2024 YouthLead Training from Feb. 29 to March 3 in St. Louis. \nOur focus will be Christian identity\, who God has made us to be\, and who we are to each other. Along with the new curriculum\, we will be working through leadership development programming as well. \nThere are a limited number of spaces in the training. Once those spots are filled\, we will gladly take participants on a waiting list. \nWho can attend Youthlead?\nAny high school youth who is an active member of an LCMS congregation and desires to be a leader can join us along with adults who desire to mentor young leaders. \nWe prefer teens attend with an adult leader from their congregation. Arrangements can be made for them to come unaccompanied. \nHow much does it cost?\nRegistration for youth and adults is $375. This covers your food and housing during the training\, transportation to and from the airport if needed\, supplies\, and a shirt. You will also need to cover your transportation to and from St. Louis. \nWe encourage you to contact your district before you register as some districts have support for those attending this training. \nWhat happens at a Youthlead training?\nYouth are equipped for leadership in two key ways.
