DESCRIPTION:The Created Male and Female: In His Image Conference\, hosted by National Mission together with DOXOLOGY\, will be held April 15–16\, 2024\, at The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod International Center in St. Louis. \nConference topics will include: \n\nPastoral care for those who cohabitate;\nPastoral support for parents of children who identify as transgender;\nThe Christian worldview and sexuality;\nSpiritual care for those suffering with LGBT-related temptations; and\nChristian counsel for families of individuals with same-sex attraction.\n\nThe conference has three different tracks geared toward specific audiences. \n\nAfternoon sessions on Monday\, April 15 are geared towards clergy;\nEvening sessions on Monday\, April 15 are geared towards families and laity; and\nAll sessions on Tuesday\, April 16 are geared towards educators and church workers.\n\nFeatured presenters include: \n\nRev. David C. Fleming\, executive director for Spiritual Care\, DOXOLOGY;\nDr. Beverly K. Yahnke\, executive director for Christian Counsel\, DOXOLOGY; and\nRev. Matthew Wurm\, senior pastor of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church\, Brookings\, S.D.\n\nRegistration\nSpace is limited for in-person attendees\, so register soon to reserve your spot.
