DESCRIPTION:  \nA new cohort for Lutheran Visitation Education will begin the week of January 6\, 2025. This 25-week program will conclude the week of June 23\, 2025. \nThe Lutheran Visitation Education program equips three to six professional church workers in each session with enhanced skills for visitation\, integrating helpful caring techniques with the historic Lutheran approach to spiritual care. \nThe program is open to all rostered LCMS church workers. DESCRIPTION:The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod’s 2025 SELC District Convention is scheduled for Thursday\, Jan. 16\, to Sunday\, Jan. 16\, in Lake Mary\, Fla.\, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church. \nDistrict conventions\, which are held every three years by each of the Synod’s 35 districts\, take place the year before the triennial LCMS national convention. \nThe schedule includes time for conducting business\, electing officers\, and sharing information.
