DESCRIPTION:  \nA new cohort for Lutheran Visitation Education will begin the week of January 6\, 2025. This 25-week program will conclude the week of June 23\, 2025. \nThe Lutheran Visitation Education program equips three to six professional church workers in each session with enhanced skills for visitation\, integrating helpful caring techniques with the historic Lutheran approach to spiritual care. \nThe program is open to all rostered LCMS church workers. DESCRIPTION:The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod’s 2025 Southeastern District Convention is scheduled for Thursday\, May 8\, and Friday\, May 9\, in Richmond\, Va.\, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Richmond-Midlothian. \nDistrict conventions\, which are held every three years by each of the Synod’s 35 districts\, take place the year before the triennial LCMS national convention. \nThe schedule includes time for conducting business\, electing officers\, and sharing information. DESCRIPTION:The Toronto March for Life is May 10. The day will begin with Divine Service at 9:00am at St. Paul Lutheran Church (1424 Davenport Road\, Toronto). \nThe LCMS English District President\, Rev. Jeffrey Miskus\, will lead worship.  The march is at Queen’s Park (marchers can carpool from the church) from 11:30am to 1:30pm followed by lunch and workshops from 1:30pm to 4:00pm (location site details will be provided the day of the march at the Divine Service). \nAn accompanist to play for the service is needed.
