Webinar: ‘Faith On the Field: The Vocation of an Athlete’

LCMS Youth Ministry will host a free webinar — “Faith On the Field: The Vocation of an Athlete” — on Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2017, beginning at noon Central time. The presenter will be the Rev. Bob Hiller, who serves as senior pastor at Community Lutheran Church in Escondido, Calif.
The Lord has gifted many of our youth with athletic skills and abilities. But how are they to live out the faith in the field of competition? How can they love their enemy and try to defeat them at the same time? What does it look like for youth leaders to support youth involved in sports?
Come learn how to encourage youth in what it means to honor God and love your neighbor in the athletic vocation.
