The six-member Commission on Constitutional Matters, comprised of two attorneys, three pastors and the Secretary of the Synod, meets at least four times each year. The commission interprets the Constitution, Bylaws, and resolutions of the Synod upon request and ensures that governing documents throughout the Synod are in accord.
The commission provides ongoing maintenance and management of the Handbook of the Synod.
