Commission on Constitutional Matters

The six-member Commission on Constitutional Matters, comprised of two attorneys, three pastors and the Secretary of the Synod, meets at least four times each year. The commission interprets the Constitution, Bylaws, and resolutions of the Synod upon request and ensures that governing documents throughout the Synod are in accord.
Dates for meetings are determined according to need and the availability of the commission’s members. Its next meeting is scheduled for June 13-14 in St. Louis, Mo.
