2021 LCMS Disaster Response Conference

After the postponement of the 2020 LCMS Disaster Response Conference due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are pleased to announce new dates for the 2021 Disaster Response Conference, which will be held Oct. 6–8, in St. Louis at the LCMS International Center.
The event is at full capacity. A waiting list is available, and an LCMS representative will contact you only if additional openings are available.
Meeting under the theme “Disciples in the Storms of Life,” Disaster Response Conference attendees will learn how the church can respond in crisis situations with the physical and spiritual care that those affected so desperately need.
Attendees will also hear practical advice and guidance from pastors, disaster response coordinators, and others who have responded to significant disasters in 2020 and 2021.
Presentations will cover a wide range of topics, such as “Suffering and the Christian Response” and “The Socially Distant Volunteer.”

Hotel information
Attendees are responsible for their own lodging.
A block of hotel rooms at the Hilton St. Louis Airport Hotel has been reserved at a discounted room rate of $79 per night (plus applicable taxes) for the nights of Oct. 5-7. Each room includes breakfast (up to 2 per room per day based on occupancy), complimentary Wi-Fi, and complimentary parking.
