More Than Giving Insight Conference on Stewardship: Springfield, Ill.

The “More Than Giving” Insight Conference on Stewardship will be held from 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 19, to noon on Saturday, Aug. 20, in Springfield, Ill., at the Chiara Retreat Center.
The event — hosted by the LCMS Office of National Mission and DOXOLOGY: The Lutheran Center for Spiritual Care and Counsel — is for pastors, church administrators, stewardship board bembers, church leaders and interested laity.
LCMS Stewardship Ministry’s Rev. Heath Curtis and Rev. Nathan Meador are scheduled to give presentations, and they will provide a biblical foundation on stewardship while offering practical solutions for large and small churches.
Commuter registration is $85, which includes program, materials, supper and evening reception. Discounted lodging is available at the retreat center and two hotels. Visit DOXOLOGY’s website to view conference schedule and lodging options.
