Seminar: “The Bible and Homosexual Practice”

Concordia Bible Institute will present “The Bible and Homosexual Practice,” a seminar presented by Dr. Robert Gagnon, from 8:45 a.m. to 2:15 p.m., Saturday, April 23, at Concordia University Wisconsin, Mequon, Wis. The seminar will be held in the Pharmacy Building (Room 008).

Dr. Gagnon will address Old and New Testaments texts regarding homosexual practice, and he will discuss “New Knowledge Arguments, Analogies, and Pastoral Concerns.”

Gagnon is Associate Professor of New Testament at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, and he has degrees from Dartmouth College (B.A.), Harvard Divinity School (M.T.S.) and Princeton Theological Seminary (Ph.D.). Gagnon specializes in sexual issues in the Bible, and he has published several books and articles on the subject.
