LCMS Rural & Small Town Mission and the LCMS Central Illinois District will host an Engaging the Wandering event from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 22, 2017, at St. John’s (Sand Prairie) Lutheran Church in Green Valley, Ill.
The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod celebrates its birthday on April 26. Initial members, which included 12 pastors representing 14 congregations from Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Michigan, New York and Ohio, signed the church body’s constitution on April 26, 1847, at First Saint Paul Lutheran Church in Chicago, Ill.
LCMS Youth Ministry will host a free webinar — “How Do I Know?” — on Wednesday, April 26, 2017, beginning at noon Central time. The presenter will be the Rev. Ryan Peterson, who has served as campus pastor and assistant professor of Theology at Concordia University Ann Arbor since 2013.

LCMS Youth Ministry will host a free webinar — “Dealing with Stress” — on Wednesday, May 3, 2017, beginning at noon Central time. The presenter will be Dan Kreienkamp, a director of Christian education who has served churches and schools in northern California and St. Louis.
The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod’s Commission on Constitutional Matters is scheduled to meet May 5-6, 2017, in St. Louis. The CCM meets four or more times a year and as needed to carry out its responsibilities.
