RSTM Engaging the Wandering: Green Valley, Ill.

LCMS Rural & Small Town Mission and the LCMS Central Illinois District will host an Engaging the Wandering event from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 22, 2017, at St. John’s (Sand Prairie) Lutheran Church in Green Valley, Ill.

Rev. Todd Kollbaum, RSTM Director, and the Southern Illinois District will assist each congregation present to go home with practical approaches for engaging and reaching inactive members with the Gospel.

Every congregation has members, who for whatever reason, have become less involved in worship and other congregational activities. There is no “one-size-fits-all” solution, but congregational leaders will be encouraged as they see new opportunities for engaging their wandering.

The cost is $25 per participant. The registration deadline is Friday, April 14, and early registration is appreciated so materials can be prepared for your congregation.
