2016 Prison Ministry Coordinators Conference

“Remember those who are in prison” (Heb. 13:3).
The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod and its Southern Illinois District are hosting a Prison Ministry Coordinators Conference on April 29-30 in Belleville, Ill., at Our Lady of the Snows retreat center.
Free registration is available for district coordinators, designated representatives and anyone involved in Prison Ministry for an LCMS district. Registration is limited to 60 participants; deadline is April 15.

Plenary sessions will include guest speakers:
- LCMS 1st Vice-President Herbert Mueller;
- Russ Helbig (Federal Bureau of Prisons senior chaplain);
- Paul Weber (State of Illinois staff chaplain); and
- Vince Stanley (County of St. Louis Jail chaplain).
Conference costs for district coordinators or their designated representatives are covered by a grant from Specialized Pastoral Ministry, and scholarships are available to assist with travel for those in need.
