Conference: SPM in a World that Challenges (Buffalo, Minn.)
April 19, 2016 - April 21, 2016
The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod will host a conference entitled “Specialized Pastoral Ministry in a World that Challenges” on April 19-21, 2016, in Buffalo, Minn., at Christ the King Retreat Center. Registration is free, and travel scholarships are available.
The LCMS is also hosting an Emergency Services Chaplaincy Conference on April 18-19 in Buffalo, Minn., and attendance at both events is encouraged.
Please join us as we celebrate Specialized Pastoral Ministry and explore the challenges and opportunities facing specialized pastoral ministers of all kinds: pastoral counselors, institutional and emergency services chaplains, and clinical pastoral educators.
These events provide continuing education hours as you learn from the presenter and Bible study leader, engage in plenary and small-group discussions, and grow professionally in workshops.
Attendees will also have an opportunity to experience refreshment in worship, times of prayer, relaxing conversation and a walk in God’s creation.
