Opening celebration for 500th anniversary of Reformation

The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod will host its official opening celebration for the 500th anniversary of the Reformation at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6, at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis.
The event will include teaching, worship, a meal and fellowship.
Schedule:
2:30 p.m. – Lecture by Michael Trinklein, producer of the forthcoming PBS documentary, “Martin Luther: An Idea That Changed the World”; and the Rev. Dr. Erik Herrmann, associate professor, historical theology, Concordia Seminary, St. Louis.
4 p.m. – Festival worship service in the Chapel of St. Timothy and St. Titus. LCMS President Rev. Dr. Matthew C. Harrison is the scheduled preacher.
5:30 p.m. – Light meal (bratwurst/beer) and fellowship.
