Specialized Pastoral Ministry retreat: Belleville, Ill.

The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod’s Specialized Pastoral Ministry will host a retreat Tuesday, Sept. 19, through Thursday, Sept. 21, 2017, in Belleville, Ill., at the King’s House Retreat and Renewal Center.
The theme is “Crossing the Lines — Approaching the Edge,” and the keynote presenter is the Rev. Larry Vogel, associate executive director, LCMS Commission on Theology and Church Relations.

- The Rev. Larry Vogel and the Rev. Steven Briel will give their reflections, and peers will be invited to offer comments, ask questions and share wisdom in small, confidential groups.

Educational events are for those who serve in Specialized Pastoral Ministry: emergency services and institutional chaplains, pastoral counselors and clinical pastoral educators.
