LCMS Youth Ministry will host a free webinar — “Whom Shall I Fear?: Strength in Times of Anxiety and Fear” — on Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2017, beginning at 1 p.m. Central time. The presenter will be director of Christian education Rebecca Duport, who leads the DCE program at Concordia University, Irvine Calif.

Commission on Theology and Church Relations – December 2016 Meeting

The LCMS Commission on Theology and Church Relations is scheduled to meet Dec. 8-10, 2016, in St. Louis. The CTCR provides study documents, opinions and statements on theological issues. Established by the Synod in 1962, the commission provides guidance and leadership in the areas of theology and church relations. The commission also provides information, resources and evaluations concerning religious organizations and movements.

“Liberty,” the 2017 National LCMS Campus Ministry Conference, is planned for Jan. 4-6, 2017, in College Park, Md. The event for college students and campus-ministry workers will take place on the campus of the University of Maryland, which is about a 30-minute drive from downtown Washington, D.C.
