While Christmas focuses on the incarnation of our Lord — God becoming flesh — the season of Epiphany emphasizes the manifestation or self-revelation of God in that same flesh of Christ.

On Oct. 12, we begin our year of church worker appreciation by thanking God for our pastors, who stand in the stead of Christ as they bring us His gifts of Word and Sacrament.

Church Worker Appreciation Month

To help the church be intentional in showing that appreciation, The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) has set aside the month of October and other special days throughout the year to highlight different kinds of church workers and their service.

2026 Kentucky March for Life

The 2026 Kentucky March for Life is March 11 at the Kentucky State Capitol. Come out and join other Lutherans to witness to the sanctity of life.
