LCMS Colloquy Committee for the Pastoral Ministry – May 2022 meeting

The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod’s Colloquy Committee for the Pastoral Ministry is scheduled to meet on May 5-6, 2022, in St. Louis at the LCMS International Center.
The Colloquy Committee for the Pastoral Ministry establishes and monitors the academic, theological, and personal standards for admission to the office of pastoral ministry by colloquy after consultation with the faculties of the seminaries. It develops eligibility policies and processes to determine qualifications and suitability for pastoral service in the Synod.
The committee consists of the First Vice President of the Synod as chairman, a district president appointed by the Council of Presidents, and the presidents of the seminaries or their representatives. (LCMS Bylaws 3.10.2.2,3.10.2.1)
